The fort of Tira was completely destroyed at the end of last year
The fort of Broniant was partial destroyed at the end of last year Since then rebuilding of it has started in the last month
The knights of Mektar who guard the border, there numbers have been seriously depleted and they only have the fort of Duliel left
In the Gruithiel mountains anyone who has entered that area has not been seen again

Though there have been rumours circulating Gweria of undead disobeying there master, and walking off towards the Gruithiel mountains, but no one knows for certain

Overall there are a lot less undead wandering round Gweria than normal

At two times during the day there are two huge flashes of Ominous shadow and death magic anyone with sense power feels them (this is the day before the adventure)

Also there are lots of rumours spreading out about a huge Undead army moving about again
