Nandine forests, near a cottage

*Lucy and four children suddenly appear with a loud crack just infront of a small cottage. As they regain their feet, Lucy suddenly falls flat on her back still holding Millie who instinctivly starts crying. The other three children of various ages look around and noticing that there were some of their group missing decide to try and wake their mother. It is soon clear that she is not going to wake up in any hurry, taking the baby off of her they take Millie inside and through dusting the cott off lie her inside. One of the children wait with their mother gently sobbing, it was lucky that she had not landed on her baby. One Millie was safe and one of them was watching her they then discuss what to do with Lucy, they start to drag her slowly inside but it was very slow work.*

Kerrigan appears with a thud and is surrounded by the rest of Lucy's children,
He looks around and sees the hut, he goes up and knocks on the door

Children just wait and you can see you mum


**Kerrigan**

[Gumboots]

*The eldest daughter opens the door sheepishly, upon seeing who it was she opens it fully.*

"Ma is in her bedroom resting, she just collapsed when we got to here."

*She looks down to the other three children.*

"Go and play with the others, they are in the living room with Millie."

*The other three children move off. She looks up to Kerrigan.*

"I don't know what you can do for her, I have never seen her like this before. Follow me, and do you know what happened?"

*She leads the way down a narrow corridor, the house that they are in is decent, nothing shabby, a little dusty but everything seems to be very well decorated and cared for in the past.*

"Mr The Traveller helped us to get this small house, it fits us nicly and it is safe for Ma and us all to practice when it is needed."

*As she leads him into the bedroom Lucy is lying quietly on the bed, eyes closed and unmoving. Her breathing is steady, almost as if she is sleeping.*

I have an idea as to what happened to her and what happened all together but if you let me examine her I can be sure,

Kerrigan follows her to where Lucy is
on the way he comments

You are right this house seems very nice do you like it here?


When he gets to Lucy he examines her

**Kerrigan**

*The girl nods.*

"Yes I like it here alot, but Ma does not like it so much. She worries alot but I suppose now she has not got as much to worry about."

*After he finishes she looks timidly at her.*

"Well how is she?"

Kerrigan looks at her and smilies

She will be fine she just exhausted herself I am glad you like it here, once I have done this she should have very little to worry about, unless you kids muck around

Kerrigan says this with a twinkle in his eye

Right now lets see if I can sort this problem out

The girl talks, us cause trouble!

Slowly and gradally Lucy wakes up, she opens her eyes seeing a blur at first then realising that it was Kerrigan she seems to relax.

"Hi, that was a powerful spell! Is everyone ok?"

[bauldin]

Kerrigan says to Lucy's eldest
Of course you don't cause trouble

As Lucy wakes up Kerrigan looks at her

Lucy that spell drained your soul and you left half your children behind, I managed to get them here so no harm no foul, all is well

Now how are you doing?


**Kerrigan**

[Gumboots]

*Lucy looks up a little amazed at what she had just done.*

"It was so powerful, it felt very large! I don't know how I did it! Is it possible for it to be.... oh yes never mind, I forgot the pink one. Oh well... I am fine!"

*She sits up slowly her expression looks a little glum but she shrugs.*

Ok Lucy care to explain what you just said??

Kerrigan looks very confused


**Kerrigan**

*She looks to him. Her eyes glazing over.*

"Well I was in the big ritual, when I had so much essence to play with I did not know what to do with it. We ended the world then made it whole again. So this felt tiny compared to that one. Now if you don't mind, I have something to explane to my children as they do not know what has happened AND I can tell them easier than you can. If no one tells me what is going on then I will never know for I can not read if it is posted somewhere. I normaly have to get people to tell me what it say's each time. Right, I am going to see to my children and try and sort out what happened."

*She stands upright, her legs a little wobberly.*

With that Kerrigan walks outside of the house and looks up starts to walk up on the air then disappears in a flash


**Kerrigan**

*Lucy gets back to her work of looking after her children. Crying while chopping the onions she makes a meal, in which she does not stop crying even when the onions are fully cooked. After the small meal she gathers her children around and talks to them all. The entire house is somber and fairly quiet. Millie is the one that starts to cry first. Lucy is not sure if she understood what had happened or not but she comforted her as they comforted each other.*
