On a Hill

A day after the "heroes" emerge in Pathway, a second group appear at the top of a mountain in the Heartlands, surrounded by radiation and the sound of mutants scavaging.

One by one the group vanish and proceed as quickly as possible downwards, careful to not give their positions away to their feral opponents.

Once the group escapes the radiation, the proceed towards Pathway.

A Black Shuriken amongst them speaks

We should rest and restore our lost powers

The group does as requested and set down for the night. Throughout the night the Shurikan tosses and turns, flickers of confusion and understanding cross his face intermittently until finally he awakes.

He waits for the group to awaken.

Go meet Sundaris, My Lord Balyn has shown me something I must do. I shall meet you at his house.

With that, the Shirakan leaves.
