The Weary Traveller

The patrons of the tavern were looking more and more angry and some left in a hurry to get out of the way. The barman although happy with the custom was starting to get a little bit annoyed he was loosing customers faster. One man stands up and yells at Rath Narlan.

"You...you almost killed my wife and kids! I saw the house hit by a meteor and catch fire! They screamed as they were burnt alive! I then watched as more things devistated everything I owned! I was lucky I was only knocked to the floor as a tornado swept past me! By that point the screams of my wife and kids had stopped! The next thing I know the house and everything else was back to normal and my wife and kids came screaming and running out of the house!"

The man turns and heads towards the door.

[bauldin]

The person in the corner speaks up
the hooded figure askes the man who just spoke

if you wife and kids are alright what is the problem?
I am sorry I may be new here but I thought that would be a happy ending


**Hooded figure**

*as malfurion looks around he notices that the fireplace raise a hand in direction and a roaring fire ignites*

"and how many would have died if Erathil had been allowed the bones? so be thankful you still have a family and when the hopewastes call for you will learn the meaning of suffering"

The man turns a tear in his eye.

"The problem is that I had to watch and I was helpless to do anything. I am happy that they are alive again but I fear for them now. My youngest will not come out of her room and my wife's hands shake so violently that she finds it hard to cook. I was one of the lucky ones to survive the fight at Pathway and I cherish every moment of being with them but as I was to be put through such tourture I can not start to comprehend what might come into the future. If you are to stay in here I will leave, I do not want reminding of what happened. Yet I see it in the eyes of my family, I see the fear in the peoples eyes. We do not know even if our princess is still alive of if she is ok! We fear now, where we were happy to just live."

The man turns and leaves, a couple of others leaving to comfort him.

[Dellam]

"Weaklings..."
V'Jal whispered to himself as he listened to the exchange, being decidedly disgusted with the inability of others to deal with the situation as it stood as he had easily withstood it from the very heart of its being.

His hooded head turned, features hidden and yet from within he watched the leaving figures then let his eyes scan those assembled. How he detested them...with exceptions.

[bauldin]

Kerrigan walks slightly drooping like he has walked for miles, none of his usual flare is visible
Goes to the barman

He gets lead up to his room where he promptly falls asleep


**Kerrigan**

[Aldacot]

Aldacot walks into the bar, looking tired and weary. He gets himself a drink and some food from the bar and sits a while, regaining his energy. Having finished his ale, the blue rushes back into his face and he asks after Kerrigan to the barman. On learning that Kerrigan is in his room, he goes up and gives a loud knock on the door.

[bauldin]

Just after the loud knock, a thump is heard like someone falling out of bed, and a large discharge of magic can be felt by Aldacot by the door,

then a voice that is unmistakably Kerrigans is heard

um watcha um hold on there in a minute

slightly quieter

where is my belt oh there it is just my shirt to find

Moments after this Kerrigan opens up the door lacking his usausl robe to see Aldacot at the door,

Hello my old friend

with that he embraces him

tired though I may be this is reason enough for a drink though if I am to go downstairs again I will have to make myseld presentable

come in come in I will only be a moment


**Kerrigan**

[Aldacot]

Aldacot enters Kerrigan's room, his eyes brightening at the mention of a drink.

Thank you, my friend. It is good to see you again, you've hardly changed.

A mixture of apologetic embarassment and amusement briefly pass over Aldacot's face.

Though I'm sorry if I've woken you up. Anyway, tell me all that's been going on - we have much to catch up on.

[bauldin]

I knew I could tempt you with a drink,

As Kerrigan speaks all of this he goes over to the sink and picks up a dagger, mutters something and the blade glows red then he starts shaving though this doesn't take long


It has been so hectic got to have a trip to Ingolé though wasn't under the best of circumstances

He then starts to pick up his weapon belt and straps that on checking that the sword and the dagger where there

What about you I haven't heard from or seen you in ages


**Kerrigan**

[Aldacot]

Whilst Kerrigan is readying himself, Aldacot sits on the bed. A smile creeps across his face as he makes himself comfy but he snaps out of it as he listens to Kerrigan.

Mmmm, "not the best of circumstances" you say: little around here seems to happen under the best of circumstances. Oh well, it's all part of the grand circle of life I suppose: be under heavy circumstances when out and about, and then make up for it with some ale in the tavern afterward.

He grins contentedly and then turns serious.

As for me, well, I'm sorry that I was unable to keep in touch. I have been around...

He pauses for a second with a far away look in his eyes.

...searching.

The far away glance goes as quickly as it came, and is replaced by a bright grin.

After all, we all go through life searching, don't we, Kerrigan? If there was nothing to search for, or no questions to ask, etc etc we would get bored pretty quickly, wouldn't we?

[bauldin]

Well how about we get some drinks and I will tell you about the circumstances and you tell me for what you where searching, we can either go to my other room next door bit more comfortable for guests or we can go down to the tavern

with that Kerrigan puts on his robe on and looks himself again


**Kerrigan**

[Aldacot]

Aldacot gets up from the bed and quickly arranges his now slightly ruffled robe.

Let's go next door. The truth is that I could do with a nice, comfy spot. Just as long as I can relax and have a nice, refreshing drink.

[bauldin]

Ok then follow me

Kerrigan leads off into a side room which has a cabinet with alcohol in and snacks in and comfy chairs Kerrigan goes over to the cabinet and pours himself a Dragonstear, then a flash appears around his hand and the mug starts to steam

Aldacot what will it be then, I just hope I have it


**Kerrigan**

[Aldacot]

Aldacot ponders for a minute, muttering under his breath.

Beer before wine, everything's fine... but what about mead? Oh, nevermind.

He speaks louder and heading over to a nice, comfy chair as he does so.

I'm in the mood for a glass of mead, if you don't mind.

He grabs a snack and munches away merrily.
