A Royal Birthday

[Gumboots]

*Zemilia for a moment looks shocked, her mouth open. She speaks slightly paniced.*

"Sylor!"

[bedevere]

*Generath's eyes fly open*

They have him captive too? We must rescue him immediately!

*Generath begins creeping back towards the edge of the woods, and focuses intently on the village*

Ah, I see him. They seem to have drugged him, to stop him from escaping. This will be harder than I had hoped...

[quillkeeper]

*A lone figure moves through the tree-line, never stepping out of the shadows. The figure keeps low to the ground as if searching for someone or something.*

[Gumboots]

*Zemilia comes up to him.*

"He has had a little to much wine, he will be fine. We are engaged."

*She covers her mouth open. She had really had to much fun and to much wine. Her face goes slightly red, it is clear to be seen in the light coming from the fire and the moon.*

[bedevere]

*Generath doesn't seem to hear Zemilia, but turns around suddenly, as if something has caught his attention.

He looks straight at the figure skulking in the shadows, and speaks out*

I see you over there. You may as well show yourself.

[Gumboots]

*Zemilia steps between the where Generath is looking and him. She readies herself, she knows that Generath does not know what she is capable of. She starts incanting, just incase.*

[quillkeeper]

*The figure steps out of the trees a sword in each hand. He moves towards the pair and lets the hood fall from his face revealing his unusual appearance.*

"I suggest you leave the Lady in peace, before I do something you regret."

[bedevere]

Please step back, mistress. I am your bodyguard, it is not proper for you to place yourself in harms way on my account.

*Glamour 12*
It would be best if you remain behind me, for your own safety

*Turning back to the figure*

I am the lady's personal bodyguard. I will not stand aside for any man. Identify yourself, and declare your interest in her, before I decide you are a threat to her well being.

[Gumboots]

*Zemilia moves obediently and speaks quietly, she is still incanting quietly under her breath.*

[quillkeeper]

*Aratain walks forward and brandishing his blades.*

"The need for your proection has long since ceased. She is more than capable of that herself, and has friend here that watch her back."

*He points at the man facing him with his stumped arm and a fire bolt flys toward him.*

[bedevere]

*Generath twists to the side, avoding most of the fire bolt, and almost instantly, his sword and shield are in hand, and he is charging. On top of Aratain in moments, a rapid series of strikes is unleashed.*

[Gumboots]

*In a hurry Zemilia interviens.*

"Powers from Earth, quicksand Generath. STOP!"

*She is breathing heavily but is reading another spell just incase.*

[quillkeeper]

*Aratain parries the swings made by his assailant and fails to get any past his shield. Taken aback for a breif moment he soon lashes out with another form of attack, one directed at his soul.*

"Back away or I will devour you soul where you stand. Do not test me!"

*He again lashes out with Lonliness.*

[bedevere]

*As the magics draw in around Generath's feet, they suddenly fizzle out. Too late, Zemilia remembers that all her guards were taught how to resist earth magics.

Aratain's Lonliness spell flies forwards, but Generath twists at the speed of thought, and manages to get out of the way, partially.

Continuing his assault, but finding few openings in Aratain's defensive fighting, Generath unleashes a mighty strike, and sends aratain to the floor.*

[Gumboots]

*Zemilia has enough, she thinks on her feet and draws her elemental sword. She did not know if this would take effect on either of them for she had not tried it before but it was better than nothing. She walks forward and speaks sternly.*

"Please stop both of you, dont make me do something. That is more leathal."
